"Brian's
approach is unlike any I have previously encountered. It just makes
sense that the body is a system and needs to be treated as such. Brian's
grasp of proper diagnosis and assessment is invaluable. It's apparent
why his patients achieve the results they do in the short time they do.
Aside from his clinical excellence, Brian has integrity and clearly
displays a high regard and empathy for his patients and their problems.
If you're troubled with pain and similar issues you should seek a
conversation with Brian Zelasko."

"Dr. Zelasko, Thanks for keeping me together!"

"As an avid runner and triathlete, I had been having hip pain for over a year. So much so, that my weekly running mileage went from 50 miles to 5. During this time I had two X-rays, one MRI, I went to a hip specialist, and had numerous physical therapy treatments – with no relief from the problem. After discovering ART through my friends at Ironman I decided to give this a shot. After 2 sessions with Dr. Zelasko, yes, 2 sessions, I experienced immediate relief from my pain. I am now back to my 50 miles a week and have incorporated ART treatments into my weekly training. Thanks Dr. Zelasko and ART!"

"Thanks for all the treatment."

"In September of 2009, I was suffering from severe headaches several times a week. My daughter, who was going to Dr. Zelasko, suggested that I give him a try as he had helped her tremendously with similar problems. I started going to Dr. Zelasko in September 2009, and he used the "ART" (Active Release Technique) on me. Within a few visits I noticed a significant reduction in my headaches, and now I suffer from very few headaches, and my daily routine and work schedules are not interrupted by those killer headaches. I go once a month for a treatment and I am doing great. Thank you Dr. Zelasko and "ART"."

"David ran his first race this year this past Saturday (12/19) and as you can see, things went pretty well (3rd place finish). He still has some work to do, but he is well on his way. Thanks for all the help!"

"I had been working out and injured my neck resulting in
limited range of motion and pain. As I
am a full believer in ART, I began seeing Dr. Zelasko for treatment after
learning that he is Master Certified in ART. After 2 sessions, I experienced complete relief of the pain as well as a
return to normal range of motion. Thanks
Dr. Zelasko for your help! I am now back
at the gym and able to get back into my routine."
~ Dawn (Buffalo, NY)
"Thanks to Dr. Zelasko I am running my first marathon tomorrow! Several weeks ago I was in tears because I thought a foot injury would prevent me from achieving my goal. I am confident and excited that I will cross the finish line tomorrow. Thank you so much!!!"
~ Lindsey (Buffalo, NY)
"I have been going to Dr. Zelasko once a week for a few months. I have spinal stenosis and 4 herniated discs. I may be in pain when I walk in his door after working 5 days in the operating room, but generally I walk out pain free. He keeps me able to keep working !!! I highly recommend him!!!!"

The Paleo Diet is a way of eating that best mimics diets of our hunter-gatherer ancestors - lean meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and nuts – by eating what we are genetically adapted to eat. |
"You told me about this diet about 3 or 4 years ago, I love it !! and since then I got 5 other people on it and they never felt better !! Thanks for telling me about this diet !!"
~ Darrin (West Seneca, NY)
Dear Dr. Zelasko,
"I want to thank you for diagnosing my hip problem. I have been to several physicians and physical therapists who were unable to see the underlying issue. I was very impressed by your thought process in pointing out that my body "was trying to protect something". Even as a Physician Assistant myself I wasn't thinking about my hip as I was focused on my back and ITB! I assume you have received a copy of my left hip x-ray and MRI report as I requested you to be copied. I have an appointment with Dr. Brian McGrath on February 11 and I will get more information about the labral tear seen on the MRI and if I require further imaging or perhaps hip arthroscopy."
"I am hopeful that I will be out running again someday! I have read some positive reports online about active release as part of labral tear rehab so I hope I will see you again soon!"
"Thank you again for your insightful and careful assessment. I am most grateful."
